So what can participating in soccer do for you and your child? Well for starters it keeps you active and healthy. Playing sport lowers the risk of diseases and helps maintain a healthy mind. It's been proven through research and sciences so don't just take my word for it.
It allows players to develop social skills and socialize with other like minded individuals. Some of the friends you make playing soccer will last a life time. The question that needs to be asked is this, can you afford not to play soccer?

major soccer problem PLEASE HELP?
ok I am in my middle school soccer team i play as forward and we have had 2 wins with 16 goals and only 1 goal agaisnt us. but i haven't shown much effort not being able to score one goal. i really want to show to the coach that he made a good pick on tryouts on choosing me. the problem is i get really nervous at practices and games and can't seem to play my best. the odd thing is when im at the park just for fun i tend to be better than the other kids with out any pressure. my next game is on sunday (in 2 days) please help i cant be like this anymore!!!!
Your obviously a good player. Just think about it logically, what do you have to lose? You,ve been playing below your level because your worrying about everything, this Sunday, try and just play for fun. Trust me, I play soccer at the highest level possible and am potentially making a career out of it so I know. Just chill, don't think about scoring or you won't. Take a chance on goal when the time is right but don't force it. Maybe listen to some relaxing music before the game, I like Bob Marley personally. Good luck and I hope my advice helps, it should.
